A troll map is a map that looks like an already existing or popular map (e.g. vanilla map) but has some kind of surprise (e.g. a trap that kills everyone, a hidden cheese, a labyrinth to the cheese).

Troll maps play all year round but are more frequent on April Fool's Day. They first appeared on 1 April 2015 (V1.234).
