Elise and Papaille were based on two mice owned by Atelier 801. However, Elise died (Papaille is now dead too) and this was reflected in-game. Elise used to sleep in the room while Papaille cried, but now Elise and Papaille do nothing other than stand still.
Since Shaman 2016, Elise operates a store whose contents change four times a day - at 00:00, 06:00, 12:00 and 18:00 GMT. A new village room must be created to see the latest store; old village rooms have the store as of the room's creation time and do not change. As such, different village rooms can have different stores. The store is stocked randomly with the following criteria:
Items in the permanent section below always appear for the same price.
There are 1 or 2 options for each coin type accepted (excluding permanent items).
Items are a random value between 1 and 10.
Prices in coins are a random value between 1 and 5.
All consumables have a chance to appear except for:
"Hello-o! I am Elise, nice to meet you! I am the owner of this stable, feel free to talk to my friend Scarf here if you have little buddies to take care of!"
